University Housing Website

In 2020, Electric Citizen was engaged to redesign and rebuild the University of Minnesota's Housing and Residential Living website. We had built the previous site, so this was an opportunity to build on our past work and upgrade to something even better. 

My role was to lead the discovery and design phases of the project. During discovery, that meant defining audience needs, outlining project goals and outcomes, studying and rebuilding the sitemap, conducting competitive analysis and conducting client workshops.

With a strategic brief in hand, we then moved to visual design. I generated a series of wireframes (mobile and desktop), and a new component-based design direction. I finished my role with a series of page mockups and design specs that were handed off to our dev team to built out the site.
