25 Years Building Better Websites.

Hey! I'm Dan Moriarty, and I've spent over two decades planning, designing and building the web.

I run the web agency Electric Citizen in Minneapolis, where we design and develop websites for government, higher education, and nonprofits. I'm also a conference speaker, writer, and certified accessibility professional (CPACC).

What I Do

I started in web design back in 2000, working solo for over a dozen years before co-founding Electric Citizen in 2012.

Today I lead a senior team of strategists, designers, and developers focused on the civic sector — helping organizations communicate clearly with the people they serve.

Beyond client work, I write about web strategy and accessibility, and give presentations at national conferences like DrupalCon North America

I care about making the web more usable and accessible, and share what I learn along the way.
