MidCamp Chicago 2020

I was scheduled to present in person at MidCamp Chicago in March, 2020. This was to be my second year in a row, both attending and speaking at this annual tech conference dedicated to Drupal in the Midwest, USA.

I say was, because this conference was the first of many to fall victim to Covid-19. Conference organizers had the insight to quickly pivot to an online conference, instead of the planned location in downtown Chicago.

Despite the mad scramble and general strangeness of it all, I'd say they pulled it off. I was able to give my Battle for Online Privacy presentation via Zoom to an audience from across the country. I was joined by a number of other presenters throughout the day of this one day online conference.
