After recently attending MinneWebCon and last night, attending the (1st ever) IgniteMpls conference, I can see the hype over Twitter isn't all talk. While it's easily debatable how useful most of the Twittering and celebrity stalking going on with Twitter, there's one positive use of Twitter that I'm really liking.

I recently attended the 2nd annual MinneWebCon, a conference at the University of Minnesota dedicated to all things relating to building websites.
Looks like Firefox may be the comeback kid, taking up more and more marketshare of browser's use from Internet Explorer. Interesting to see, considering Firefox arose from the ashes of Netscape. It could read like a dramatic plot, the son avenging the father.
I've been using Zen Cart as the ecommerce software of choice for my clients the past few years, due to its bevy of features and overall stability and support. Just in 2008, I've used Zen Cart on sites for Dogs Go Green, Yarn Finders, JSB Security, Gruv Precision Hardware, Corporate Fitness Products, and Systium Technologies. I am keeping on eye on what else is out there, however, and will continue to try out other promising ecommerce packages as time goes on.
You can't avoid all the hype lately about "going green." I am trying to take my business in this direction, in what small ways I can. Starting this month, all the electricity at Dan Moriarty headquarters is 100% wind powered.
